View from Maleny

This post is for Scenic Sunday.

This photo was taken from the look-out a little way along the Tourist Drive close to Maleny, Queensland. On a clear day the view from here is spectacular as you can see along the Sunshine coast and right out to the ocean. The mountains in the distance are the Glass House Mountains which are deeply eroded volcanic cones.

  4. Those distant mountains add a bit of eeriness to this view. But I love the lush greenness - everywhere is dull brown (until the snows come!)

  5. Your header, what birds are these?

My sis lives in South port. She has two pinetrees. Beautiful birds come and eat the pinenuts. She has a natural Chritsmas tree. I must ask her to take photos for me.
