An Aussie Christmas Day

Season's Greetings to all. I hope your Christmas day is as perfect as this one was for us a few years back. I scanned this picture in from a 'pre-digital' photo. We spent the morning around in the bay swimming and wind surfing then came around to this beautiful spot and set up lunch under the shade of the umbrellas and some casuarina trees. This is at Arakoon on the mid-north coast of New South Wales.

  1. Wishing you and yours all the very best for Christmas and the new year Mick.
Your photo looks more inviting than all the cold snow which has been hanging around here for days.

  3. Thanks John for best wishes for the season. Right now its actually a bit too hot here - at least in the middle of the day. Maybe we could mix some of your snow and some of out heat to make a perfect climate.

    Thanks for your comments Kirigalpoththa.

Hi Denis. Thanks - and I hope you have a great holiday season too.

  4. Happy Christmas Mick to you and yours - oooooh I can feel the sun on my back as I type; and sense the gentle lapping waves caressing my toes as I wander along your beach.... :)

  5. Thanks Tricia, It's the middle of the day as I read you comment - and the sweat is dripping off me and I could almost wish for some of the snow from up your way!

  6. All the best for tomorrow. Hope the storms stay away. Conversely, hope it rains for all those who need it.

  7. Thanks Tony - no storms here and little or no rain either. Gympie looks lovely and green and its only 50 kms from here - our town looks brown and dry!
