I love watching Terns flying over the ocean. I keep taking more photos hoping some day to catch the perfect moment! Watery Wednesday seemed like a good excuse to post another photo of one.
It is a beautiful photo and makes me miss the ocean. I want to go back to see the Common Terns! I noticed your Mistletoebird posted from a few days ago is a bit like our Gray Catbird (different bill and shape, but grey feathers with a bright red patch under the tail...very cute).

What a wonderful wingspan, and the water is so clear as it only is in Q'land where you can see the fish swimming in the waves.

I love watching the Common and Least Terns here on the coast of Maine.
Everything abut this photo is magnificent! The colours of the water are gorgeous and the bird is elegant.
