First Light...

...and bird song from my back veranda. I enjoy hearing the calls of the ones I know well, and trying to identify the ones I hear only occasionally. (Taken over several days this week with the video function on the Canon S2.)

    Hi Vickie, I enjoy the video feature even though this camera is now way out of date. For me - sounds are an important part of bird-watching.

    Enjoyed the birdsong accompanying the rising sun. I sometimes take a little Pentax shirt pocket sized camera as it has sound recording facilities.

    Lots of Lorikeets, it seems, and a distant Pied Butcherbird.
