Little Friarbird
Yesterday, this Little Friarbird was enjoying the grevillia flowers on a small tree in my neighbor's yard. I usually see Noisy Friarbirds rather than Little Friarbirds so was pleased that this one sat still for long enough to get some interesting photos. 
After we finished looking at each other - and I finished taking photos - it went back to the flowers.

ReplyDeleteHi Gouldiae, This is only the second time I have seen a Little Friarbird. Maybe I just haven't looked in the right place. My neighbor's place backs onto bush and mine is surrounded by other houses so maybe that's the difference.
